About Us
Police Now’s mission is to transform communities, reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, and increase the public’s confidence in the police service by recruiting, developing and inspiring outstanding and diverse individuals to be leaders in society and on the policing frontline.
Police Now attract, recruit and train outstanding graduates with leadership potential to be inspirational detectives and police officers who transform communities. Not just for people today, but for generations to come.
We believe that given the highest levels of support and freedom, detectives and police officers can contribute to changing lives. Equipping participants with core policing skills, our two-year leadership development programmes help develop leadership, communication and problem-solving skills that will serve graduates, and the wider community, for a lifetime.
Our National Detective Programme is designed to equip graduates with the core policing skills required in modern investigative work. Throughout the two-year training programme participants play an integral part in solving crimes while developing leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Our National Graduate Leadership Programme trains and develops graduates to become leaders in neighbourhood policing. Participants are placed in some of the most challenging communities in England and Wales, getting to know the issues up close and developing innovative ideas and techniques to tackle the challenges residents are facing.

We’re looking for talented graduates from all degree disciplines to join our National Detective Programme and National Graduate Leadership Programme to make a lasting difference in some of the most vulnerable communities in England and Wales.

Police Now works with over 30 forces throughout England and Wales to find outstanding police officers and detectives. We select and recruit highly competent graduates to play an important role in supporting the nation’s police in their efforts to increase the number of officers across England and Wales.
Police Now is an independent social enterprise, supported by the Home Office. That means we’re an organisation that aims to bring about improvements in society rather than profits for our organisation.
Through our attraction, recruitment and innovative training programmes, we supply our partner police forces across England and Wales with the talented, driven graduates they need to drive results.

Since our inception in 2015 we have won more than 35 awards, from our market-leading diversity and inclusion strategies to our innovative marketing campaigns and recruitment process, through to our two-year training and development programmes.
