Lincolnshire is one of the largest geographic areas in the UK, covering 2,284 square miles, with a population of over 789,000.
Lincolnshire Police officers are dedicated to the diverse needs of their communities and the variety of challenges from working in inner-City Lincoln, the rural nature of Spalding, seasonal visitors to Skegness, travelling criminals accessing the country via the A1 at Stamford or Grantham as well as working with communities to protect vulnerable people from harm.
Over half the population live rurally and Lincolnshire receives approximately 21 million visitors annually, with coastal towns seeing a significant increase in population of the summary, creating a sure in demand for policing.

Core requirements
To be eligible to join Lincolnshire Police, you must:
- Have achieved, or be working towards, a First, 2:1 or 2.2 undergraduate degree by the programme start date.
- Be a British Citizen or have indefinite leave to remain and right to work in the UK.
- Have lived in the UK for the last three years.
- Have a full UK manual driving licence (if you don't yet have your licence, you must have your practical driving test booked at the point of application).
