Police Now Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap Report

At Police Now we truly value equality, diversity, and inclusion. To demonstrate this we are committing to publishing our Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap Report to celebrate the success we have experienced and to be held accountable for the work still to be done. Over the last 12 months we’ve made progress that we are proud of but we know there is more to be done and we are committed to moving closer to pay equity for both gender and ethnicity. This is important to us because we want equity for all our staff so that regardless of background all have the opportunity to thrive.

You will receive 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. We also give a one month paid sabbatical after five years’ service.

Pay and pension

We work within clear and competitive salary structures, split by band, across the organisation. We offer a pension with 6% employer contribution and 2% employee contribution.

Health and wellbeing

You will have access to free and confidential mental health coaching sessions from our partners at Sanctus. You can take advantage of award-winning Vitality Health Insurance, which includes access to an Employee Assistant Programme and a large range of health, food, and hospitality discounts.

Flexible working

We work in a hybrid working model with both working from home and from the office opportunities. To support working from home comfortably and effectively we provide equipment to support our team doing this. On top of this we also offer our team flexibility around our core working hours of 10:00-16:00 where required.

Learning and development

You will have access to a central fund to support your growth in your role as well as your own personal and professional development. You’ll have access to Diversity and Inclusion training as well as regular Lunch and Learn sessions.

Community and events

We host twice-yearly all-staff away days, you’ll have access to staff affinity networks, and you’ll attend monthly all-staff forums to discuss organisational performance and strategy.

Our Ethos

We hold ourselves and each other accountable for demonstrating Police Now’s Leadership Principles through our actions.

Diversity and Inclusion

We are an equal opportunities employer committed to diversity and inclusion in policing and our Head Office.

Other Opportunities

Our Syndicate Leads are a key role in the participants journey at the Police Now Academy. As seconded Sergeants and Inspectors from our partner forces, they work directly with participants delivering training, facilitating learning and providing support throughout the academy.
