Additional benefits point to include once confirmed:

  • Supporting your career outside for policing: You’ll get access to socials and networking events with Police Now alumni – both serving police officers and alumni pursuing careers outside policing.

Sergeant promotion support

Promotion within the police service can be very competitive with different processes to navigate your way through, so support is on hand to help you understand the processes and what’s required of you at each stage.

Where can I get access to support as an alumni?

Contact me directly at [email protected] and I’ll be happy to support you with the right guidance or resources based on your needs.

Following an initial one-to-one, I will tailor a support program to meet your needs and objectives. This may include anything from exam preparation to interview question practice.

I can provide evidence-building support, guidance and review of written applications, briefings, and tabletop exercises.

Sessions are usually over 60 minutes. The frequency and number of sessions is dependent on your requirements and can be impacted by supply and demand.

If demand is high, I may offer group coaching sessions Force by Force in addition to one-to-one support.

Preparation and practice are key to success, so I would say it’s never too early to start. An early one-to-one can be hugely beneficial. I will tailor guidance and support in line with your needs and timeframe.

Don’t allow others to talk you out of it. Begin building an evidence bank of examples, this will help you later down the line. Book a one-to-one session with me to talk through your options or barriers.

My main focus is on supporting promotion, but I also offer guidance and support for lateral career development, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

I may also be able to connect you with other members of our alumni community who have relevant experience.
